Pee Wee Checking Camp

For 1st and 2nd year Pee Wee players who want to learn how to safely engage in body contact. Emphasis will be placed on developing safe checking techniques through instruction and repitition. The four day camp will teach and reinforce:

- The skill of angling, body positioning and controlled use of the stick.

- How to receive a hit and give one safely.

- Contact along the boards and in open ice.

- Techniques to avoid checking an opposing player from behind.

When:
August 25th, 26th, 28th and 29th, 2008

Where: Castledowns Arena from 5:30pm - 6:45pm
