Brad G
Brad Gurba is an alumni coach with Edges who has been part of the team since the mid- 90’s, still lacing up his skates occasionally to work with the students on their skills.
Brad first learned to skate on the family backyard rink in Bruderheim when he was 2, started playing when he was 4, and still actively plays in two leagues.
Brad’s daughter, Braelynn, is currently an Edges student and has been developing into a great skater. She is enjoying playing ringette, and Brad is a volunteer assistant coach helping out at practices and teaching the girls power skating principles. It’s a bit of a change after 37 years of hockey, but he thinks he has finally learned all the ringette rules!
Sport, hockey & skating have always been an important part of Brad’s life, and he hopes to continue to be active and help when he can, especially with causes like this
