Joey

Joey started playing hockey at the initiation level and took his first power skating lessons with Tammy during his first year of novice. After playing bantam, Joey made a major change and decided to start officiating hockey. He currently officiates regularly at the Midget AAA, Junior, and Senior levels.

Joey’s coaching career started with helping out in the Learn to Skate classes at age 15 and has continued since then, now instructing all levels and classes. Due to his day job as a mechanical engineer and refereeing, Joey is not able to be around the classes as much as he would like.

Joey has been an Iron Man for several of the 24-hour Games, and we hope that he’ll make it again this year.
